Living Truth Church (LTC) is currently planning a mission trip with Casas Por Cristo in the Dominican Republic. The mission trips will be working in the community of Moca. LTC has worked in Moca during all seven (7) previous trips. This will allow the team members and our church to continue to build relationships with Pastor Danny and the community that he serves in.

July 2023

The July 2023 mission trip will have fifteen (15) team members. The team is still open for enrollment; however, spots are filling up quickly. Sign up today to ensure your spot on the team.

The trip will include building a home for a family in need. In addition, a significant amount of down time will be spent in the community building relationships with locals, as well as hosting a cook out for the community at the end of the week.

Whether or not you want to travel internationally, there are many ways that you can join LTC's mission in the Dominican Republic. These include:

Join one of the Mission Trips

This is the most obvious. You can sign up for November or March trip. If you feel led to join but are concerned with outside circumstances, such as financial restrictions, please talk with us. We would be glad to work through the details and find a way to allow you to join the trip.

Make a Financial Donation

Many of the team members are stepping out on faith in order to raise the funds to make the trip. Most people do not have excessive income to fund the mission trip; however, they are answering the call and committing to go. Whether you can donate a one time gift, a recurring monthly donation or if you would like to sponsor a team member to go, all of it will help.

There are many ways to make a donation. You can put it in the offering plate at church on Sunday with the memo "DR Mission Trip Donation" or you can make a donation online using the donation form in the Team Roster section. You can also talk directly with one of the team members to make a donation.

100% of all donations are used specifically to send team members to the Dominican Republic to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community of Moca.

Prayer

Above all else, our team needs your prayer. Here are a few ways that you can pray for us.

Finances - Pray that the finances will come. Pray that the burden of raising the money will not distract the team members from the mission trip and what God is teaching us.

Protection - Pray for our team's protection. This includes traveling to and from the Dominican Republic and while in the Dominican Republic.

Team Unity - Pray for our team's unity. Pray that we will bond together and work as one.

Moca, DR - Pray for the community that we will be working in and the people we will be working with. Pray for the Lord to continue to work in the community.

Pastor Danny - Pray for Pastor Danny. Pray that God will continue to work through him to reach the community of Moca. Pray that Pastor Danny will continue to be a light in the community, and that he will be an example for the men to lead their families in the way of the Lord.
