Short Term Mission Agreement

Living Truth Church

 2023 Dominican Republic Mission Trip

 Short Term Mission Agreement

1.

The mission trip will be limited to the first eighteen (18) members to submit the $250 non-refundable deposit. A position on the team is not secure until the deposit has been submitted.

2.

The total cost of the mission trip is $1,500 per adult and $1,000 per youth (12 years old and younger). Each member is responsible to pay the entire amount due for the trip, per the following deadlines.

  •         $250 Deposit due as soon as possible to secure a spot on the team.
  •         $500 Payment due no later than April 16, 2023.
  •         $750 Payment due no later than June 11, 2023.

3.

The team leaders may organize some fundraisers to help the team; however, each individual member is responsible for paying their entire payment and should not rely upon the team leaders for fundraisers.

4.

Any team member may organize fundraisers; however, the fundraisers should be approved by team leaders prior to organizing the fundraiser. This will help to ensure all efforts are working together.

5.

All payments should be completed in one of the following methods:

1) Through the online giving portal in the "Team Member" section of LTCGoesDominican.com. A 3% transaction fee will be added to all payments through the online portal to offset credit card fees.

2) Placed in the normal Sunday church offering with the memo “DR Mission Trip” on the check or giving envelope.

In addition, an email must be sent to Chad McDaniel at CMcDaniel.ee@gmail.com and Kenna McDaniel at Kenna.dpt@gmail.com stating the following information:

  •         Amount submitted.
  •         Method of payment (Online, cash, check).
  •         Location of payment (Online, offering, given to leader, etc.).
  •         Date of payment.

If an email is not sent following a payment, it is not guaranteed that the payment will be credited toward the appropriate team member.

6.

Some team members may have more construction experience than the Casas Por Cristo (CPC) missionary leading the build; however, the CPC missionary is capable and in control. Our goal is not to attempt to change or improve the build process.

7.

From the time we leave Pensacola until we return to Pensacola, a “safety in numbers” rule should be followed. No team members should be on their own at any time.

8.

Other than spouses, a male and female should not be alone together at any point on the trip.

9.

Our actions should represent Christ at all times.

10.

Alcohol, cigars, or other items which could tarnish the name of Jesus Christ, Casas Por Cristo or Living Truth Church should not be purchased while on the trip.

By submitting the form below, you are acknowledging and agreeing with all ten (10) items above. If you do not agree or believe you can comply with any of the items above, please discuss with Chad McDaniel prior to submitting the Short Term Mission Trip Agreement or Registration Form.
