Background
Living Truth Church has committed to partnering with Casas Por Cristo to share the love of Jesus with the people of the Dominican Republic. More specifically, LTC has committed to serve in the community in Moca, DR, alongside Danny Lizardo, Pastor of Jesus Christ is the Way Christian Church. LTC has taken seven (7) trips to Dominican Republic. This continued partnership with the community has allowed LTC to develop relationships that can break through language barriers and extend beyond one week a year. While the gift of a home is an enormous blessing for the family receiving it, we genuinely believe that LTC has been equally blessed by the faith and hospitality continually displayed by the local church in Moca.
2023 Trip
LTC will be leading another trip in 2023 to work alongside Casas Por Cristo and Pastor Danny. The dates of this trip will be July 15 - 21, 2023.
Who Can Go?
Whether you have been on multiple international mission trips or have never left the state; whether you have twenty years of construction experience or have never swung a hammer; whether you can speak fluent Spanish or cannot speak a single word, you are welcome and encouraged to join the mission. We truly believe God equips the called rather than calls the equipped!

Registration
Once you have decided to join the team, you will need to submit the following three items:
The Mission Trip Agreement and Registration Form can be completed online by clicking above, and the deposit can be submitted using the payment portal in the Trip Member page. Please forward the payment confirmation email to cmcdaniel.ee@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can submit hard copies of the forms and cash/check payment to Chad McDaniel or Kenna McDaniel between services at church.
Each team is limited to eighteen (18) people, so sign up quickly to secure your spot on the team.
Can't Go?
If you are not able to go on the mission trip but would like to support the mission to show the love of Jesus to the people in Moca, Dominican Republic, you can give a donation toward the trip below. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of donations go directly toward the mission trip. Donations can be directed toward a particular team member or distributed throughout the entire team. We strongly believe "senders" are just as important to the mission as are the team members going.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Above all else, we need your prayer! The trips cost approximately $1,500 per person and many team members are stepping out of faith trusting God to provide the resources. In addition, our team needs prayers for safety on the job sites, team unity throughout the trip and good weather on construction days, to name a few. More than anything, pray the love of Jesus breaks through all barriers and the name of Jesus is continually glorified throughout the week.
